Summary: IT Consultant and Artificial Intelligence researcher. I have been providing a variety of services to clients across the whole IT spectrum, from security to site development. With 8 years experience consulting, and a diverse education throughout Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence and Mathematics disciplines, I aim to bring new perspectives to almost any problem faced by my clients. My current research focus is on Artificial Intelligence, and particularly Artificial Intelligence and Games. I am supervising researcher for the StrathPoker project, in which we are investigating Machine Learning techniques and the ways they can be applied to card games in the Poker family. My own research is aimed at using techniques from the Automated Planning field of AI, and integrating this with more real-time techniques to create fast and robust artificial agents.
