Developed The Jewish Youth Project in Greater Manchester, which is recognised as one of the most innovative youth provisions both in the area and within the Jewish youth service. Developed ANJY (A Network for Jewish Youth) an internet provision enabling over 50 youth groups to access the internet freely by 1994, with on-line resources and communication tools. Developed Manchester Youth Services Staff Development Programme, which was recognised as an example of excellent practice receiving superb evaluations from participants. Managed the closing stages of 2million Manchester Youth College, enabling it to reach targets it looked like missing and helping funded projects successfully plan for the transition in funding. Initiated Young People in the City Centre Partnership and wrote proposal to have Peer Youth Workers in Cathedral Gardens who are now successfully engaging their peers on Saturdays and in holidays. Oversaw the accreditation programme for young people accessing Manchester Youth Service provision, dramatically increasing numbers gaining Open College Network and Duke of Edinburghs Awards. Managed the successful merger of the Family Support Unit into the Family Welfare Association within Greater Manchester. Wrote Time to Transform Our Communities, www.timetotoc.org, a faith-based project toolkit to address social exclusion. Successfully helped organisations obtain over 2.5million of funding over the last decade that has supported children, young people and community work in Greater Manchester.
