Locality: United Kingdom
Summary: Lecturer in Computing at The Open University since October 2006. Previously I was a postdoctoral researcher at Imperial College London, where I was awarded a first class MEng in Information Systems Engineering in 1998 and a PhD in 2005. My research interests are in formal and semiformal techniques for the analysis and refinement of policies as well as software engineering aspects of policy-driven systems. I am a visiting researcher at Imperial College London and am a co-investigator on the EPSRC funded "Privacy Rights Management for Mobile Applications" project and also invovled in the Policy-based Security Management project sponsored by the US/UK International Technology Alliance (www.usukita.org). Additionally, I co-chaired the Autonomic Infrastructure, Management and Security conference (www.aims2007.org) sponsored by the EC-IST EMANICS Network of Excellence and I regularly serve on the program committees of the IEEE Workshop on Policies for Distributed Systems and Networks (2004-2006) and other international conferences in network and systems management such as NOMS and IM.
