Summary: I began my HR career working for Vertex/ TXU Energy as part of their Training & Development Team.
Following the successful launch of C1+ I moved onto a project team responsible for the deliver of customer facing operations for Westminster City Council.
After a six month period working on the Westminster City Council project team I decided to explore a different industry in order to further my professional development and took up a position with Monsoon Accessorize as a Regional Training & Development Officer
Over the three and a half years that I was employed with Monsoon I produced many different learning and development interventions on a regional and national level. I also moved from a field based training role to a position responsible for development within the Companys Head Office. My role included assessing training needs at a departmental level as well as producing specific department and management development material. I also worked with the Companys international partners and remote offices.
Through my interaction with Senior Management and to assist with my CIPD studies I moved into a generalist HR role and became the HR point of contact for the Monsoon brand assisting on several department restructures and staff deployment projects.
After three and a half enjoyable years I decided to seek challenges else where and joined EAT Ltd, a chain of branded retail cafes, as their Training and Development Manager in January 2007. At EAT I was instrumental in the Company expansion as well as producing a core management skills training programme, introducing a Team Member Coach role, delivering a Company customer service programme and various other learning indicatives. I also continued to play an active role within the generalist HR area, reviewing the Companys probationary and capability procedures.
I am now currently employed at Bhs where I am there Head Office Learning & Development Business partner
